The brief
TVNZ and the All Blacks asked us to deliver a press pool stream of the 2023 Rugby World Cup squad naming at Pettigrew Arena in Hastings.
Why the venue mattered
Hastings was chosen so fans could meet the newly named squad not long after the region was hit by major flooding from Cyclone Gabrielle. The stream gave fans and stakeholders who couldn’t be there a front-row seat.
The result
We designed and delivered the stream to stakeholders, who rebroadcast it to the domestic market and globally. Across platforms, the stream gained hundreds of thousands of views.
