Our role
Network design
Stadium access points
Fibre trunking
60 GHz point-to-point links
QoS and traffic shaping
Live monitoring and tuning
The brief
Trademark Live needed a rock-solid connection with redundancy for the Fisher concert in central Auckland — for production staff, point-of-sale across multiple bars, artist and green rooms, security and operations, and ticketing at three gates.
What we delivered
We designed and deployed stadium access points and gigabit switches across the site. The network backbone combined:
- Starlink and 1 Gb backhaul
- A fibre trunk across the site to sub-sites
- 60 GHz point-to-point wireless links for speed and low latency
- 2.4 GHz failover paths for redundancy
- Smart traffic shaping and QoS, with bars and ticketing as top priority
A high-RF environment
Victoria Park sits in one of the busiest RF environments in the country. With thousands of concurrent devices at peak, constant monitoring and tuning was essential to keep every client device stable.
Why it mattered
Festivals rely on the network for ticketing, cashless payments, backstage operations and real-time communication between zones. Our solution gave the Trademark Live team confidence the event would stay connected from start to finish — and showed how the same system scales from a boutique event to a multi-zone festival.
