We were stoked to be part of the LZ World Tour stop in Taupō, delivering high-quality video production for what turned out to be an epic event. Unlike a typical livestream, this was an offline recording—capturing every drift run for a post-event edit to be shared worldwide via Adam LZ’s YouTube channel.

The Brief
Record every single competition drift run in broadcast multi cam quality, with embedded commentary audio and timecode
We provided:
Multi-camera setup: We used two broadcast cameras and an FPV drone to cover every angle of the drift action, ensuring no moment was missed.
ISO recording at camera: Each camera ran individual recordings of its feed, giving the editors flexibility in post.
Embedded live commentary: We captured all commentary live during the event, so editors had synced audio to work with later.
Replay & vision mix for judging: Even though it wasn’t live-streamed to the public, we ran a vMix vision mix for the judges to watch live and review key moments on-site. This helped keep judging accurate and smooth.
We also rigged up a TV monitor for the judging team in a dedicated room at Taupō Motorsport Park, making sure they had a reliable feed of the live action plus the ability to check replays on the spot.
Need to record your event for post-production? Whether it’s a motorsport event, concert, or conference, we’ve got the tools and know-how to capture every moment in full broadcast quality.
