We’ve had the pleasure of working with the Institute of Certified NZ Bookkeepers (ICNZB) for two years running now, delivering full technical support and livestreaming for their annual conference, AGM and gala dinner.

Delivering a Seamless Hybrid Experience

As a hybrid event, the ICNZB conference brought together both in-person attendees and remote participants from around the country. Our job was to make sure that no matter how people joined, they had a smooth, engaging experience at the venue and online.

We set up and ran:

  • Full AV and livestreaming  including a professional PA system, wireless microphones, and a multi-camera livestreaming system.

  • Breakout room support  with its own dedicated PA system and livestreaming setup.

  • Stage & projection coordination, ensuring both rooms had visuals and sound for attendees.

Supporting Speakers & Remote Attendees

One of the biggest parts of this job was making sure remote speakers and attendees felt just as involved as those in the room. We provided:

  • Zoom integration for remote speakers, allowing them to present seamlessly to the live audience.

  • Interactive Q&A via Zoom chat, helping remote participants engage in real time.

  • On-site technical support for both speakers and exhibitors, so everything ran without a hitch.

We also supplied recordings of all sessions post-event, so those who couldn’t make it on the day had full access later on.

Hybrid events are here to stay, and we love helping organisations extend their reach and impact—whether that’s across the room or across the country. The ICNZB conference is a perfect example of how great planning, collaboration, and reliable tech can bring people together no matter where they are.
